The experience as a English teacher allowed me to understand that most students are in upper level of English proficiency and enthusiastic about learning more. In fact, we have a friendly class instead of official classes. I believe in a friendly atmosphere they can speak without shyness and they are more confident. When students make a mistake, I just correct them patiently and encourage students to repeat it again. So students are not afraid of speaking with mistakes. Furthermore, this teaching experience gave me a chance to talk with Chinese students about different topics and exchange our opinion about culture, food and historic places. They are really curious about my culture and country.
